How guides are written
- Country guides are editorially reviewed and updated over time. Where firsthand travel experience informs a guide, its review notes say so.
- The goal is not to cover every possible stop, but to explain what holds up in a real trip.
- Guides are allowed to include drawbacks, friction points, and overhyped elements when they matter.
How destinations are framed
- The writing is aimed at independent travellers.
- The voice stays practical, calm, and specific.
- Recommendations are not sold as universal or algorithmically personalised.
How listings can change or be removed
- Places and suggestions can be updated, archived, or removed when facts materially change.
- No listing is kept because of a commercial relationship, and no listing is removed to promote another.
- Meaningful removals and factual corrections are logged in the public corrections ledger.
