Stay longer and the appeal becomes clearer: Kalemegdan at dusk, kafanas, markets, riverside walks, Zemun, old-new architecture, conversation-heavy cafés and a nightlife rhythm that does not rush to finish. Two full days is a useful minimum for many visitors; more makes sense if you like cities that reveal themselves through atmosphere rather than tidy beauty. Do not judge Belgrade only by how quickly it photographs.
