Is two weeks enough for Istanbul, Cappadocia and the coast?
Two weeks can work well for Istanbul, Cappadocia and one coastal stretch. Add Ephesus, Pamukkale, the Black Sea and the southeast on top, and the trip starts becoming a logistics exercise.
Answer
Two weeks is the point where Turkey opens up, but restraint still matters. A strong version might give Istanbul four or five days, Cappadocia three, then one coastal base with short side trips. Another good version swaps the coast for the Aegean, using Ephesus or İzmir as the historical counterweight. What rarely works is treating every famous place as a compulsory stop. Cappadocia needs more than one rushed sunrise, the coast needs time to feel coastal, and Istanbul becomes flat if it is reduced to headline monuments. Keep the classic triangle clean, and it can feel varied without feeling scattered.
