Nha Trang or Mui Ne may fit some coastal routes but are not automatic upgrades for everyone. Con Dao is more specialised and needs more planning discipline. The broader rule is blunt: do not add beach time just because the itinerary feels like it should end on sand. Add it when the forecast, transport and mood of the trip all support the detour.
